Shrine of the Wired City

The central control system spans the entire city controlling all aspects of it's infrastructure required for the survival of the city and it's residents. After hundreds of years much of the city's residents have forgotten who created the system and the programs that run within it, some even came to worship it as a god and built a shrine around the client access terminal.

I started this illustration during my Learn Squared mentorship under Aaron Limonick. I learned a lot from him and more importantly came to enjoy creating new worlds and art even more so than before. I took inspiration from a lot of places and artists and tried to put as much of the things I love in the same image.
